Personalized Ceremonies for Nature-Lovers by Antonella Notari Vischer, Certified Celebrant serving Italy and Switzerland. Ceremonies conducted in English, Italian, French, and German (including Swiss German)
Greetings, I’m Antonella. Allow me to share my story and vision with you.
My journey has taken me around the globe, living and working in impoverished and troubled communities where I became acquainted with the elaborate tapestry of human experience. These encounters with people from all horizons, traditions, and worldviews have profoundly shaped my understanding of how we mark life’s significant moments.
Today, I call Podere Trafonti my home – an organic estate nestled in the hills of Tuscany. Here, alongside my husband and our dedicated team, we cultivate olives for oil, tend to our honeybees, and produce artisanal honey. Our estate has evolved into a sanctuary for those seeking renewal, as we host transformative experiences from yoga retreats to artistic workshops, all while nurturing a deep respect for the natural world and all living beings.
A Natural Approach to Life’s Ceremonies
As a certified lay and humanist celebrant, I design and officiate ceremonies that honour significant transitions in people’s lives and resonate with the beauty, abundance, and sophistication of nature. I believe in the importance of communities coming together to celebrate life’s milestones through rituals that feel authentic and meaningful to them and bridge the human experience with the natural world. Each celebration I craft is an opportunity to honour the occasion, as well as our connection to the Earth and each other.
Whether it’s an elopement, a wedding, a vow renewal, a presentation or naming ceremony, a memorial or funeral, or any other rite of passage, I take a mindful and environmentally conscious approach to ensure each event reflects the uniqueness of the individuals it celebrates and our shared wonder for life on Earth.
